Keen to walk the Camino from Venice to Finisterre
Hi all,

I'm in the early stages of my preparation for my very first Camino. I'm looking to make art along my journey through three beautiful countries. I have all my life (no time limit, no commitments)
There seems to be bits of information scattered about the internet about this particular Camino, but not a lot about the actual route. It would be great to hear from pilgrims that have journeyed this route from Venice to Finisterre.... hints, tips, maps, stories and anything you would like to share! Thanks in advance.

Now there is an interesting challenge for you. I'll have to follow in your footsteps though. My plan is doing a series of month-long walks that connect my way from Vienna through Venice (mostly the Peace Walk?), down Italy through Rome and over to Brindisi, and then connect all that through Florence, up through southern France then down to Barcelona. With the walks I have already done, that will put me right across Europe although not in order and not all in one direction or at the same time. That's the most I can bite off at a time, not because of commitments but because of love of doing other things, in addition to walking.

If you do go through Barcelona on the Catalan Camino & Camino del Ebro, that is mostly along the same path as my recent Camino Ignaciano, just in reverse. There is some information in my blog (linked below) on that section. Buen Camino!
