Cecilia - this is a lovely way. There will be those that will tell you, correctly, that there is a lot of road walking. But as a general rule they are quiet back roads. The refuges are small and often parish run, and mostly are a days walk apart. I really did enjoy the solitude, didn't see many others at all. Janet

Thanks Margaret-Vezelay is a hard one to plan so much to see so many different ways to traverse to
s'engager, to emprunter (which translated mechanically on the internet comes out borrow- not take-interesting difference) , to prendre, to bifurquer, or to suivere. Your new icon is great! You did it?

No, it was done by a child in my class- part of the picture she drew on a birthday card for me. I love it!
