Hi everyone. I'm writing from Canada as a total newbie to Camino pilgrimages. But I think/feel (fear) haha the Camino is calling....
I will be in Portugal at the end of August this year - and I thought I might try to walk Vigo to Santiago. I am hoping to try this as a first experience to see if I've got it in me to attempt the full Camino Frances next year.
My main question is about lodging in Porto. I am overwhelmed as to where to stay and rest for a day or two before I set out to Vigo. I would prefer a private room. Do you have a favourite place to stay in Porto that isn't terribly expensive, quiet but close to some nice restaurants?
