Hi,

We are a group from Ireland who walked Baiona to Santiago last year.

We are now considering walking from Baiona or Vigo to Porto.

Has anyone completed this and have an itinerary and story of their walk to share?

Also is luggage transfer viable going "backwards"?

If there's anything else we need to consider, please advise.

Many thanks in anticipation,

John

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

Hi, I walked from Vigo to Porto in May 2018. My itinerary and places I stayed:
Vigo, Hotel Oca Ipanema
Nigrán, 17kms, Pensión Venus
Mougás, 20kms, Albergue Aguncheiro
A Guarda, 20kms, Hotel Eli-Mar
Vila Praia de Ancora, 16kms, Hostel d'Avenida
Viana do Castelo, 22kms, Orbitur
Esposende, 23kms, Hostel Eleven
Vila do Conde, 24kms, Erva Doce
Matosinhos, 22kms, Fishtail Sea House
Porto – where I had a plane to catch.

It wasn’t difficult going “backwards”, although some junctions were unclear if there was nobody coming the other way. I don’t know about luggage transfer.
