Walking the Primitivo was a Fantastic Experience

My daughter and I walked 200 km of the Primitivo including part of the Francis, from May 3 to May 15. Unfortunately we did not have time to walk every step of the way to Santiago. But we loved what we did and would like to go back to do the parts we missed. The route was beautiful, the Spanish very warm and helpful despite language barriers, the food delicious, and with one exception, the accommodation, alberques, pensions, and B & Bs, were very clean and inexpensive compared to Canada. The hardest part was figuring out how far I could walk before my knee got sore but once we did we made use of taxi and bus at essential moments.
I would like to thank this forum and the individuals that helped me with my planning. We had a wonderful time!
