Hello, I plan to do Le Puy-Cahors in September. In order not to bring a lot of clothes I would like to know if all the Gites have a washer and dryer.
Thank you!!!

If I remember correctly, many had washing machines, some had dryers, but not all. You might have to hang your clothes on a clothes line for drying sometimes (common practice).

I usually hand wash my clothes, so I could remember wrong. Washing by hand is always a solution. No need to carry many clothes.

Usually one set to wear, one set to wash is enough. Some bring a third set ("one to wear, one to wash, one to spare").

If your clothes are quick drying (like merino or some synthetics), they should be dry by morning.

Bon chemin!

These appliances are the property of the owner. Maybe a kind ask might get your stuff washed, but honestly how often does some random person come to your house to do their laundry. A hand wash and a line dry works everywhere else until go get to a larger town with a laundromat

You say you're not accustomed to doing laundry? Or perhaps you don't know how to hand wash your clothes? Never used a clothesline in your life?
Walking the Le Puy route will teach many lessons. The norm is to wash out your attire from the day (wardrobe #1) upon arrival, and immediately hang to dry. You wear clean dry clothes (wardrobe #2) to dinner and possibly to bed, as well as the next morning. Be sure to collect your dry clothes off the line before retiring for the evening, lest a stray overnight shower undo your hard work.
Remember your will be in shared lodgings - could be 6, or 16, or 26. And there will be only one appliance. Often there is only a spinner and not an actual dryer -- but the weather is so warm and sunny that things dry very quickly anyhow.

I have washed by hand many times... But I have the bad habit of hostels in Spain where almost all of them have a washer and dryer... I know that the Le Puy route is not as crowded as Spain and has less services, but I will adapt to the place.
Thanks for your reply.

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.
