Hi

Looking for information here on the availability of water fountains on this route.
Is it comparable to the camino ingles where there are fountains every 4-8kms?

Thanks
Simon
There is the usual scattering of fuente as I recall but I only remember making use of the one at the Ermita San Pedro Martir. I joined the queue of locals waiting to fill their containers. The earlier fuente at Ermita Nosa Senora das Nieves is also popular for its curative powers. Along the entire Santiago - Fisterra - Muxia - Santiago circuit there is a sufficiency of cafes and bars that I never felt any concern for water supply.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
