Starting this Saturday 18 Aug. in Valença/Tui and heading the interior route. Anyone out there who can report on the weather? Wet, cold in the mornings, etc...

It's best to check the weather on a local site: https://www.tempo.pt/
This one gives you the low and the high temperatures.
Seems to me it won't be cold at all...

It's very hot in Spain and Portugal at the moment, with daytime temps going up to 35°C (95°F) in the region you'll be walking. Just checked and it's already 20°C at 8am. Take care!

Having a rest day in a hostel 150km north of Lisbon. It is shockingly hot. Burning. Myself and a poor Italian woman walked 32 km yesterday and are now paying for it. More than sweltering.
