Walked Camino de France May 2016 and planning on walking Camino del Norte in March 2017
Will be starting Camino del Norte in mid March 2017. I know weather conditions change constantly but would like to know what I can expect.?

Using Bilbao as the average location, in March 2016 there was twenty days with rain, no days with a low below freezing, and typical high temperatures in the fifties fahrenheit.

I walked from Bidart to Bilbao in the last week of March.

Day 1 Bidart - Hondarriabia Mid seventies, Sunny, No Rain and I arrived in Irun sunburnt
Day2 Hondarriabia - San Sebastian Mid sixties, No rain, Sunny
Day3 San Sebastian - Getaria - Mid Sixties, No Rain Overcast
Day4 Getaria - Deba - Mid Sixties, Overcast, but No Rain
Day 5 Deba to the Monastery in Zenarruza - Mid Sixties Sunny and Clear with No Rain
Day 6 Zenarruza - Gernika - Mid fifties - Rained all day - Never Stopped - Even had a shower of hailstones as I arrived in Gernika.
Day7 Gernika - Bilbao - Mid fifties - Overcast - No rain

Moral of the story.... Be prepared for a bit of everything... But for the most part very comfortable walking weather
