What does CASI mean?

I have seen this under many arrows on the Camino but no one can tell me what it means or why it is some places and not others. Thanks

Casi, an adverb in the Spanish language means almost, nearly, virtually. In negative phrases it means hardly.

I thought it ment CAmino de San Iago.
San Iago is an old Spanish name for Santiago.

where I´m from, "casi" means "something." Kinda fits with the arrows..."this way to something"
