I managed to leave my iPhone charger in my previous albergue. Currently in Portomarrin but everything is closed (Sunday). Does anyone know for sure if there’ll be something in Palas de Rei for when I get there tomorrow? I’ve done some research and found some appliance shops, but not confirmed iPhone charger sellers!
Thanks in advance!

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
Just look for a China Bazaar.

Annie, on another thread, you wrote that what you had bought in a tienda de chinos was an adaptor plug and not a charger. I would buy the former there, but never the latter. The adaptor plugs are unlikely to cause electrical problems, even though I have found them to be cheap quality and too loose to be a good fit for my US prongs. There are oo many reports of shoddy chargers, which can fry your phone, even though they are marked with the C€ logo.

Not sure this will help but the link below points to a list of Apple stores in Spain.

Also ask around the albergue. Someone might loan you one to charge your phone. Also may be a lost and found where you can get one...

The electronics store may not be open on Sunday. Asian Bazaar might and there is another little store you pass on the way there that is kind of a catch all store at well that may have one it is on the way to the Dia .

I actually got a new charger in Portomarin, but someone else went and got it for me. I think they picked it up at the grocery market.

Some of the gas stations have a lot of miscellaneous accessories. We found one there.

You don’t need an Apple branded charger as such. If you have an iPhone 15 (plus/pro/pro max) any USB-C charger is ok. If you have an older phone the original Apple charger has a 5v 1a output. There should be chargers available in almost all electronics store and often in service station, kiosks, supermarkets etc.

The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.

I bought mine at a gas station when I lost mine. Already had a Euro plug attached.
