Hi everyone, I am doing the Camino next May, arriving in Barcelona then travelling to Sjdp.
I was wondering where I could leave my suitcase [somewhere safe] in Barcelona.
I will be returning back to Barcelona to continue my holiday. I have been thoroughly enjoying all the posts.
Thanks
Tony

Hi Tony Bobcat, speak to the staff at the place you will be staying when you return to Barcelona. Hotels can often provide storage of luggage for their guests prior to arrival. Buen Camino!

We're starting our Camino in 2 weeks, we're planning on storing our luggage at Locker Barcelona (http://www.lockerbarcelona.com/en/) I have been in contact with them via email and all I had to do to secure our lockers for the duration was to pay upfront for a single day. They are giving us a discount because our luggage will be stored for more than a week. If you like I can come back and report on our experience with them when we get back.

Hi Tony, we are back from our short "taste" of the Camino (it was a wonderful experience!) so I thought I'd update you regarding Locker Barcelona. We found them to be fantastic. We stayed at Hotel HCC Montblanc, which turned out to be a great choice as on the morning that we left it was a very short walk to Locker Barcelona, with no roads to cross. We wheeled our luggage there, paid for our lockers and checked it in with no fuss, less than 10 minutes later we were walking off to the train station to start our Camino. The luggage is stored in individual lockers and you choose a code to use to secure the locker. Collecting our luggage was absolutely painless, we walked in to the premises, showed our receipt, were taken to our lockers, keyed in our codes and walked out with our luggage - took less than 5 minutes. Our luggage was in perfect condition, nothing missing or anything like that. Because we booked the lockers for more than a week, we were given a day's storage free. I have no hesitation in recommending Locker Barcelona.

Hi Gill,
It is great news to hear than you have returned from your Camino and had such a wonderful experience.
Thank you for your information regarding the lockers and that they are easy to use and totally secure.
