Hello all,

Any recommendations on a good place to stay in Gijon? I’ll be walking in there tomorrow and have just noticed the negative buzz around the albergue and have decided not to stay there.

I’m not overly fussy, but I’d ideally like to find somewhere that’s convenient to the Camino route through the city. Other than that, as long as the bed works and the door locks, I’m not overly bothered!

Thanks in advance,

Mark

Very light, comfortable and compressible poncho. Specially designed for protection against water for any activity.

Our Atmospheric H30 poncho offers lightness and waterproofness. Easily compressible and made with our Waterproof fabric, its heat-sealed interior seams guarantee its waterproofness. Includes carrying bag.

€60,-

Thanks for the suggestion. Ended up booking La Polar. Pilgrim discount and they claim to be on the path. I guess I’ll find out later!

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
