Where to stay in Vila do Conde?

did anybody stay a night in Vila do Conde and can recommend a nice hostal, not too expensive ?

Yes - by the riverside there are a number of very reasonably priced hostals. I've been there twice and have just gone from one to the other until I got something. See:
