In another thread we've just had a discussion about what wildflowers will be out on the Camino in May. A few people posted beautiful photos.

I'll never forget the cistus roses covering the banks on the climb down to Molinaseca but I don't have a photograph and I'll probably never be there again at exactly that moment. I'd love to see a photo if anyone has one.

Wildflowers are here today, gone tomorrow - so we don't see the same things. You may have been privileged to see and photograph something special and beautiful.

If so, could you share it here?

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

In Cée Terry took a photo of a Pohutukawa in flower, and a Cork Oak near Melide while still on the Primitivo.
He enjoys taking photos of butterflies and flowers, as well as the mountains and churches etc, so has made quite a collection, but not all on the Caminos.

Hi Kanga, I too was entranced by the flowers on the descent into Molinaseca, I posted photos of some of the fabulous flowers we saw on this very special day on my blog here
http://wp.me/p3azEo-dY - I can't seem to upload a photo in this thread for some reason.

Maggie, you have captured it beautifully - even the rock roses.

It was in Roger's photos. Sorry I can't recall if it was part 1 or part 2, but maybe you could just ask him to post the photo on here? It was of a single wild rose blossom and was beautifully done.

Here's one I took last year:

Yes! We feasted on wild strawberries and we also found Chanterelles, which surprised us, because in the Pacific Northwest, you only see them in the Fall!
