Hello all! To use the map feature of the app, may I assume one has to be on the Camino to actually use it? How does one use the downloaded map ? I guess I can wait until my Tuesday arrival at SJJdP, but thought I would ask. Thanks! Mark

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

When I'm at home the map does show my current location, but I can zoom out and swipe the map all the way over to Europe ( I'm in the US). But why do you need to?

Thanks for your reply! Just to see how it works. I see it now. Does it show real time, “here’s where you are”, information?

The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
Do you still need internet connection on your iPhone to show location even if you have downloaded the maps ?

So Poof… when I’m on CF- and I “click “ on the Maps feature on Wise Pilgrim- they will be there? 😬

I’m in St Jean Pied de Port, and the app works great! As stated above, the offline version takes time to load, and looks different. I’m attaching photos. The white one is the downloaded one, showing half not yet loaded.
