Zaragoza: mind blown!!!

If you are traveling to/from the Camino and have a chance to visit Zaragoza, do it. If you are walking a Camino through or near here, definitely plan a stay. And if you ever have an opportunity to spend Good Friday during the evening processions….

This city is historic six ways over and probably another half dozen more that I have yet to discover. My third time here as part of Camino travel and I’m still finding out new things to see and history I didn’t know. Romans, Moors, St James, and even the Spanish Inquisition (nobody expects that!)

Worth your time and walk.

Plus the Basilica, which has not only the story of the Pilar, but the German bombs that failed to detonate. Soooooo much to see here

I agree. Zaragoza is amazing. I spent a week there last october after the camino olvidado and it was during fiesta del pilar. Fantastic celebrations. Also wonderful mudejar architecture.
