Just after Astorga

I never knew Denise, but I was on the camino in late September when her body was finally found. It was the saddest day for all pilgrims. RIP You are not forgotten.

I started out on the CF as she was reported missing. After Astorga pilgrims were nervous and walking in groups. Police everywhere. Such a sad time. You are not forgotten Denise. I hope to visit the memorial grove again next year to share some time with you. RIP

I will always remember someone on forum saying maybe she does not want to be found I will never forget those words.

I walked the same period as she was reported missing. In 2018 I brought all the Shells left by Pilgrims in Pilgrim House to here memory tree. That was a very emotional day , Starting from the Pilgrim Office to the memory tree and ended in Zabaldika with a beautiful talk with the Sisters.
