Learning Spanish with Jose from Ponferrada (when he lived in Sydney)

Do you need to speak Spanish to walk a Camino in Spain? Yes and No. On the Camino Frances, not really. Other more remote routes? I think it's useful.

Thank You Jose, your lessons were hilarious! He would make me call him by phone from another room to make an accommodation booking and then ask me to spell my name and my email address! And of course he taught me how to call and apologise if we were going to be a bit late. Very important.
