I recall this view about 1 hour out of Pamplona and it looked this brown (in September). Great photo.

If you have watched the movie "The Way" you will notice the outside entrance way to the church in Zariquiegui where they filmed one of the scenes.

On my second Camino in May 2017 I could believe how different this scene was. It was green, green, green almost another country.
