  • I have a case made for RX100 but it does take a little time to open and turn the camera on...

Have been having some issues with my RX100 - not saving all pics taken... Initially thought that it may have been a consequence of shutting the camera off before fully saved, but deliberately delaying shutting the camera down has not solved the problem...

Have you experienced any such problems?

Taa muchly - have emailed them for advice.

Am starting to wonder if it is the SD Card SCanDisk 64GB Ultra - that is the problem. I have emptied all images off it, reformatted it and checked with windows disk checker and still have the problem.

In the back of my mind I think I have been told that the RX100 will accept SD cards from 4GB up to 32GB and also the higher capacity SDXC cards from 48GB up to 256GB if you want to use video, as these cards generally have faster transfer speeds. I only use the 32GB SD memory cards as standard. Hopefully Sony or local camera shop will help confirm which cards are best.
