I think the climb from the plain up to the vantage point, and the view once you get there, is one of the experiences and sights of the CF.

This climb is hard (for me, 62 and a longtime smoker), but I agree: The reward when you are up there and can look back at what you have achieved, knowing that you are now REALLY on the Meseta and can start comfortable walking: Priceless.

I agree - having climbed it twice it really was a relief to reach the top and that little store.
