    Lessons of the camino begin before you begin. I received an email this evening from the alberque. They had space for me and I have sent them payment. I was fully prepared to make other arrangements but what a wonderful surprise to get their response 1 day before my departure. This was meant to be!

    I called today. They only take phone reservations 1 or 2 days ahead. The gentleman stated it takes 2 to 3 days for a response to emails. I send my first email on Tuesday so hope to hear back tomorrow. If not I'll try again when I arrive at SJPP and if no luck, plan for a longer first day. Let...
