Hi Ivar; I'm planning to walk any of the last 100 km (time constraints) starting Christmas and reaching New Year's Eve Santiago. I would be happy to hear some advice on feasibility and hotels and options for participating in events. I live in Spain(Barcelona) and have travelled the Camino Frances by bike and foot last year. Thanks, Simon
Via Francigena starting in March 2021, I’m looking for a walking partner for the journey
I understand that this might not be an easy person to find, given that we all walk for different reasons at different paces and with different needs. However , given the length of the journey I believe there would be many advantages to having a walking partner .Drop me a line if you’re interested

I would love to return in 2022. This difficult time will end, and we will be able to make the pilgrimage again. I am thinking this time of the Portuguese route.
Yesterday we arrived in Santiago! We started from Huarte near Pamplona on 28 September and had about 4 rest days over the 40 day journey.
We saw few pilgrims at the beginning, but then after Sarria we saw about 8 or 10 each day. The Pilgrim Office says that 48 Pilgrims arrived yesterday.
