Hi Kathar1na,
as I wrote, when I was preparing for my first Camino 2016, there was little information about O Cebreiros on this forum. And seven years have passed since then :)
and I'm not a fan of guides
What is interesting to me here is what FrJimKingcsc mentioned, how many pilgrims declared that they came to the Camino for religious reasons.
Now there is no more data in the statistics, but according to memory, about 40% of pilgrims went for religious reasons, about 40% for religious and other...
Hi jldelta,
If you stay in a municipal albergue, breakfast is included in the price. And dinner in the restaurant/supermercado can be before 19:00.
Buen Camino
It is completely normal that I have a different view of the spirit of Camino than you, or someone else. What would this world look like if everyone thought the same.
When I opened this thread, I knew that people experience or feel the spirit of Camino differently. and no one should feel angry...
Thank you jungleboy,
I saw your thread later. At school they taught me that "repetition is the mother of wisdom".

The reason you don't see that albergue is that not all albergues in Ponferrada are listed on Gronze.
This happens in all the major places on the Camino, Gronze picks a few albergues and puts them on his list. How they choose, I don't know.
edit; try here...
I walked at the end of May and I must say that there was a lot of water.
Small streams were on all sides :)
I have to admit that I drank that water. Clean, clear, fresh, cold it simply beckoned you to drink it. And I did it.
After that I had no consequences.
I carry a mobile phone and use when it necessary.
What is connected to the mobile phone and bothers me, is music.
I met pilgrims, slightly younger in age, who were playing loud music from their phones. They were mostly faster than me, so that music lasted about fifteen minutes. You hear them...
My daughter walked the Camino this year and invited me to join her at the end of the Way. We agreed to meet in Samos. When I walked in 2016, I did not take that alternative route so I was glad to see that part of the Camino. I flew to Santiago and took a bus from the airport to Samos. That bus...
