Albergue San Ero in Armenteira reopening

This is great news. Thank you for the update. Are there new contact details you’re able to share? The old WhatsApp contact suggests contacting the town hall, which seems inaccurate. Update: I’ve just noticed your attachment!

Is Albergue De Peregrinos Armenteira closed?

Hello all! Quick update and question. My partner and I booked a private room in the above Albergue and recently received an email cancelling the reservation and advising us to contact the local government for more information or to complain, with the strong indication there has been a...

Alternative towns to Mougas and Vigo

Thank you so much for all the information! We’ve stayed in Baiona before, so hoped to try somewhere different. Oia doesn’t seem to have much accomodation, much if not all of it is within the neighbouring towns. Am I missing something?

I've walked the Camino in barefoot shoes

Yes, that terrain concerns me with zero-drop shoes. Hoping there won’t be too much of it in the coastal Portuguese. Looking back on my French Way, I think the extra padding was necessary on some of the sharp, uneven ground.

I've walked the Camino in barefoot shoes

Thanks for the super post. Very interesting! I recently switched to bf shoes and wear them casually as I would other shoes and to the gym. I have suffered with achilles tendinitis in the past, but it is never an issue with bf shoes. Also, the widee toe box is helpful to guard against blisters...
