Thank You!! This is exactly what I want to do if I walk the CP this coming July. I want shorter walks, about 20 km, and you gave me the information I needed. Thanks
I am looking at the CP with this variant for July 2022. Can you share your plan? I like to do shorter days, under 20 km, and I am thinking about skipping the boat. Currently looking for ways to shorten the walk from Vilanova de Arousa to Pontecesures/Padron.
Thanks
If I decide to skip the boat ride and walk the 28 km from Villanova de Arrussa to Pontecesures, Can I split the distance? Are there places to stay?
Thanks
Any idea how long it takes to hear a response? My friend send and email 3 or 4 weeks ago and she had not heard back. They will be arriving in Santiago in the middle of August after 7 days on the Camino and are willing to pay but have not heard back. Can they go to the Cathedral upon arriving...
When I walked, Sarria to Santiago, on 2016 I ran into a pilgrim on horseback and I took down the information for a friend. See if they can help,

I walked last year and arrived at Santiago July 1. If I remember correctly we had a hard time finding the "new location" and so ended up going either early the next day or maybe late after Mass, not sure, but there was no line!! Anyway after planning for 3 years and walking for 6 days waiting on...
During my flight Miami, USA - Lisbon- Madrid last year with PAT, they looked at my retractable aluminum ("aircraft grade") poles , removed the rubber tips to confirmed that the tips were not sharp and pointed but short flat screw like ends (several agents took a look) and they let me carry...
I found it, Thanks. At least the 2012 PDF. I want to save it for my next time in Santiago Compostela. I walked last year(116 km) and I am planning 280 km SJDP to Burgos for 2019.
