Hi Eric yes one night in sjpdp but no need to book Roncesvalles, I walked from SJPDP to Santiago in 2016 took me 34 days with a 14 klg back pack at the age of 66 don't worry enjoy Buem Camino
Dear all I did the Camino last year 66 years old my back pack at the start was 14 kg with out water , as regards bed bugs stop being silly I took nothing there is no bed bugs , 90 per cent of hostels provides a disposable sheet about 1 euro, just go and enjoy the Camino and stop making hard work...
I would say to any pilgrim stop at Orisson for the night, I walked the Camino 2016 and thought I was fit the walk up to orisson is all up hill and I couldn't walk any more that day,
