Am I packing too much?
Looks good. Many hostels will not permit you to use your own bedding (due to risk of bed bugs). You may be able to go without the sleeping bag. ;)- DavidAust

Cash vs Credit or Debit
Try to have separate Debit and Credit cards. If you have one card to access both accounts, I find many ATMs will automatically deduct any cash withdrawal from the credit account and not give the option of using the debit account.
