My backpack creaks
It's the metal frame. The frame runs around the perimeter of the back of the pack. The solid, but flexible, round metal rod frame is about the diameter of a computer network cable (CAT5). Here's an update on an Osprey squeaking pack. I have a 2017 Osprey Aether 70 AG. The pack fabric is under tremendous tension over the frame and in some packs, causes squeaking.
