    For what it is worth. When I did my first camino from St Jean pied de Porte, I was going to do it by cycling it. I've made an effort to get in contact with people who have both walked and cycled it. All 3 of them advised me to rather first walk it and then cycle it. I am so glad for that advice...

    Do you specifically want to do the coastal route? The route I have planned for July is: Porto Barcelos Ponte de Lima Tui Pontevedra Padron (maybe) I will actually be doing the frances first and then train to Porto for 3 days before I start.

    Has anyone traveled from Santiago de Compostela to Porto by train with an E-Bike? I know it is 2 x trains to take, but want to know if I can take the E-Bike that is not boxed with me even if there is a cost. Any advice on this topic will be much appreciated.

    WOW Well done and good luck "RESPECT". I am 67 and will do my first cycle camino in July. Although I use to be a regular cyclist in my younger days, I also opted for an E-Bike from Bicigrino. If I can get enough training miles in the legs and bum, I might still change it to a regular MTB.
