I walked the Camino Frances 5 May to 12 June last year. I think I only walked in rain once or twice. I do remember a period of 7-10 days when there were storms/heavy rain in the mid afternoon but I had finished walking by then.

I have just booked Air France flights for 4 May from Edinburgh to Biarritz via Paris. I'll probably head straight to SJPP and start walking on 5 May or may decide to have a night in Biarritz. I probably won't start to look at accommodation until January. I don't want to get too excited...
