    How much water to carry?

I brought 2 one liter collapsable bottles by Platypus with their hose. Usually filled 1 1/2 unless looked like a ‘dry’ day. Refilled at fountains and cafes as needed. BC

Did they reroute from O Pedrouzo?

I walked in March, and took the forest route. It was splendid. But poorly marked and Appeared to send me down a dirt road to cross the highway ( bike route). I continued forward thru the forest on a fire lane to connect to the farm road leading into town. Very calming and scenic route.

Camino Frances in March 2022.. Advice ??

I also did little pre-booking. Our Camino Family got quite large, and would contact the next night’s albergue to alert them to our numbers. If I chose a single room, I usually booked it on my way that afternoon on Booking.com off of Ninga. Did not run into any problems in March/ April.

    OBSOLETE COVID THREAD Covid

The doctor and several clinics told me that isolation for Spanish workers is 7 days, ok return to work on day 8. For travel by air, in Galicia it remains 10 days from positive test, ok to fly on day 11. Embassy said it varies by region, and Galicia never lowered from the original 11 day rule...

Was able to test negative on 3 home tests, so airport lab agreed to retest me. It was negative, so I was released from quarantine and flew home yesterday! The delay was under a week, but the uncertainty was worrisome.

    OBSOLETE COVID THREAD Covid

Trying. All closed for Easter week. Trying the airport test facility tomorrow am, my last option before Friday’s rescheduled flights. Embassy helping.

    OBSOLETE COVID THREAD Covid

When I took the official test at the airport they said tge authorities would be notified, but I have not done anything. It looks like they just pay for the extended hotel, but that helps. I need to get cleared to leave!

    OBSOLETE COVID THREAD Covid

I finished Frances last week, and am still stuck in Spain because of a Positive Covid test! No one can tell me when I can get out of quarantine! If I was a Spanish worker I’d be fine, but the hospitals and clinics tell me there is “no protocol” pertaining to foreign travelers. The US embassy...
