I know El Camino Primitivo passes through Lugo. But I was wondering, does anyone know if there is a Camino that passes through el pueblo de/the village of Fonteita (O Corgo), Galicia? My grandfather died since my last camino and I'd like to stop at his grave on my walk about but have no idea how...
Thank you vagabondette! We do have a tablet. We had issues signing in to the university's blackboard program but it looks like they may have ironed them out this month. I wish I was less "fussed" about it but between the work-work and the momma responsibilities I do find it challenging. My...
Re: Techno Geek’s Guide to the Camino
Yes, I so want to disconnect! But it appears that my choice this time around is to do it and deal with the need to be semi-connected because of an online job, or skip out until a better time.
We are trying to plan our 3rd Camino this summer and it seems all odds are against us right now. I've been following the thread on taking babies along and that part seems challenging but doable and rewarding (our daughter is 13 months). The other big challenge is that I am teaching an online...
Re: Bringing a Child Question
Wow! What a great story Dynaflow. It definitely encourages us! We have a 12 month old and are thinking, considering, pondering doing El Camino for the third time, and for the first time with a baby, this summer. :)
Hey Sara,
You can easily do 6 weeks on the Camino! (Or do you mean if you can complete the whole thing, starting in France, in 6 weeks?) I think most people just don't have 6 weeks to put in. There are a lot of attractions off road to see (museums, castles, and such). It just depends on what...
My husband, Paco, and I bought our tickets from Lugo to Piedrafita today and will be getting on our way Monday. We're both very excited and hope to see some of you along the way!
¡Buen Camino!
Eva
I was wondering if someone might have information/maps that describe the fountain locations along the Camino Frances. Two years ago Sil was nice enough to send me some maps that detailed this information. This year we are starting a little further back, in O'Cebreiro, and I am wondering if there...
My husband and I are looking to begin our camino in O Cebreiro, but are having difficulty getting there. We are staying in Lugo with family and are not sure of the best way to get to O Cebreiro. Can anyone offer advice?
Thanks!
Not sure when we will arrive at Santiago. My Gramps can get a little attached at times...making it difficult to set out. So I've been prepping him for the last 2 months. :D I'll try to keep posting until we're ready to set out for the Camino though!
We don't have a set date as of now but we will be doing the Camino for the second time sometime in June/July. Very excited! We're leaving the U.S. the 11th of June and should be in Galicia by mid-June.

Good question! I had short hair last time I did the Camino but plan on doing it again this June/July and it is longer this time around. I did carry a brush with me last time but I can't remember bothering much with it. In either case, it doesn't add too much weight.
