hello,
i did the camino de norte with bicycle and walking.
on bici around 90 - 100 km a day is possible. i have on my bici 2 bags in front, one on the top and 2 in the back. all waterproof.
i can`t remember i ever lock my bike, lol
some alberge are welcome pilgrims with bici some not, than i ask...
i feel sorry that this is happens to you, the Camino Frances is not more the same like 8 years ago. special in parts of burgos , leon and other bigger towns. i always go out of a big city, there are more friendly.
if you like i can send you addresses of great alberge.
i have a tracking bicycle, not used on all Camino where you can walk. i always try also to find a way on the road. its more save for the bicycle, less reparation. in France you have perfect ways for the bicycle in a great nature.
the cloth to ware, i used for walking and cycling. rain jacked...
hello pilgrim,
there are nice different ways in France. for example, i did with the bicycle from arle, paris and le puy en veley.
also the way to Toulouse ( canal de midi ) than to lourdes to jaca via aragon.
have a nice camino
