    OK guys, what underwear?

32 degree COOL can be purchased at COSTCO or online. They are inexpensive, light-weight, fast drying, and very comfortable! I prefer over Ex-Officio.

I walked from Almeria to Santiago this summer. Ask me anything.

I walked from Almería starting April 1, 2023. Because I had already walked the VdlP, I decided to take the Trujillo variant rather than go to Mérida. Best decision ever. Loved that route. 8 days without seeing another pilgrim but so many incredible memories in such amazing villages...

    Mozarabe, Almeria—Cordoba March 8-27, 2023.

Like you, I too had planned on walking the Camino Mozárabe in 2020 and will now be leaving for Spain on March 12, 2023 to begin the Mozárabe from Almería in mid to late March. I would love to see your guidebook and trip plan. Buen Camino!

Buen Camino, Peregrinos! How special to be walking with your daughter! My last Camino was also in May 2019, the Via de la Plata from Sevilla. And my next one will be March - May 2023, leaving from Almeria on the Mozárabe! So looking forward to meeting Nely and walking this route! Keep the...

VDLP April 18, 2022 Start (From Vancouver Island)

After walking the Camino Frances 4 times, and the Ingles and Portugues, I walked the Via de la Plata in April/May 2019 from Seville to Santiago de Compostela, via the Sanabres route. For the first week or so I was uncertain about whether the VdlP was for me. But after that, I settled in and...

    Camino Frances from Lourdes

I walked the Piemont route from Lourdes to SJPdP in early-September 2015. To this day it remains one of my favorite sections of my many Caminos. However, had i not been with a friend who spoke fluent French, it would have been much more difficult. In fact, i met a Chinese Aussie pilgrim on...

    Planning #3

I had a similar desire 3 years ago, so in early-September 2015 I started walking from Lourdes, France on the Piemont Way to St Jean Pied de Port, and then on the Camino Frances to Santiago de Compostela, and on to Finisterre. This adds about 250 kilometers to the traditional CF (30 more if you...

    David Vidal

Suzi is no longer there. David said she left in October 2016. Seems David is re-energized!

    Santiago de Compostela Post Office

Thank you so much t2andreo and SYates!!!!! This is my 4th Camino Frances (plus a Camino Portugues) and it's the first time I have mailed excess items ahead to Santiago. I sure would think that I am not the first pilgrim to encounter this situation.
