Hi Kamil - we passed by there mid October last year walking to SJPP - it didn't look open ... but that doesn't mean it isn't open now. As @SabsP suggests, maybe call the Mairie. All the best. Love Pays Basque. 😍

i speak no French at all so occasionally it’s challenging at this route but it’s actually good idea. I learnt already that mairie can provide clean toilets, water, stamps, that ppl there are actually super proactive (big Kudos to Mr from Mairie...

We did it in rain and wind last October. Trail should be fine. You will get wet feet, but you will probably get that on the road too. Some parts provide shelter. Go steady, and even in the rain it is beautiful.
