I respect your point of view and disagree with you wholeheartedly. The only qualification for a compostella is the minimum distance and a suitable motivation. Even the latter criterion has been somewhat broadened in recent years. Let others do...

Always offer to pay for charging an e-bike battery. Electricity, especially in Spain is the single most taxed commodity. The price increased by several orders of magnitude this past winter.
