Hola peregrinos,
Before I made the post and I attached the photos, I asked the chief of the local police station here in Pamplona, that because of the data protection regulations and personal rights issues can I post the photos on the internet of these persons? He told me YES, because I made an...
Thank you guys for all the support, I don't really worry about the one pair of sandals, but I feel really said about the two kids what they can learn from their parents, just as you guys also mentioned above...:-((
Hola peregrinos! I am the owner of the Caminoteca shop in Pamplona. Some days ago professional thiefs have stolen a pair of Teva sandals from our shop. This is not a big news because sfefts occasionally happened already during the years in the shop. What makes this theft a shocking and a very...
Hello everybody,
Are the albergues (pilgrim's hostels) too crowded for you on the Camino de Santiago? Is it difficult to sleep because of snoring? Or would you just prefer some privacy? Hundreds of pensions, hostels, cottages (casa rurals) and hotels can serve you all along the way also. Here...

Buen Camino!
Yesterday an american pilgrim came to our shop and told me that her backpack was stolen at Bilbao's main bus station just a few days ago. This is not the first time when i hear the similar story in last two years. When you travel with bus (ALSA) in Spain you are forced to put your backpack into...

I think Tiebas is not the best solution, it is a detour from Camino Frances and it is 87,5 kms from SJPdP, which seems a little bit long stage for the first day... I recommend the municipal albergue in Huarte (68,3 kms from JSPdP) which is almost on Camino Francés and they accept cyclists. And...
Hola,
Meanwhile we changed the opening hours of the shop:
Caminoteca is open in March: from 11.00 AM to 20.00 PM. every day
in April & October: from 10.00 AM to 21.00 PM every day
from May to September: from 10.00 AM to 22.00 PM every day
Sorry for the inconvenience
The bus company Conda has been providing a bus route from Pamplona to Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port for more than one year, but there was only one bus per day at 14.00 PM. Because of the increased demand they introduced two new bus lines every day, so there are 3 buses from Pamplona to SJPdP daily...
