My wife, my 14yo son & me walked Irun to Santiago via del Norte & Primitivo this year. We left Irun mid June and walked for 28 days, we had a few days off in Bilboa, Llanes & Oviedo, my feedback...

Hi Denise, we're leaving Irun on Thurs 9th. Hope to walk all the way to San Sebastián in the 1 day. It looks like a pretty tough days walk. Are you planning walkin Irun. To SS in 1 day
Hi Chinalil, I assume you're flying from Stansted, me my wife and youngest son are doing the same flight a week later. We are getting the bus from the airport into Bilboa have a bit of a look around and then getting the bus to Irun at 14:15
All the best with your travels
@Anemone del Camino thanks for the question. It is the Bilbao Pup (Jeff Koons Pup)....but it went on a world tour 20 years ago. The photo is of the Pup outside the Museum of Contemporary Art in Sydney...we both loved it and hope to catch up with Pup in Bilbao next June.
Thanks TV, we are sailing on the Pont Aven, so I'll definitely ask. Regarding the credencial, we will get ours through the Sydney Camino group, I went to a meeting last month, nice bunch of people and very helpful.
Here goes first time saying...Buen Camino!
Thanks Laurie,
I'm not a complete stamp freak but recently I found my YHA card from 1974...I loved looking back at the stamps...I've got stamping in my genes
We are walking Norte and the Primitivo, we will meet up with our daughter in Lugo, 2 questions...
1. It appears that walking from Lugo qualifies for Campostela is that confirmed?
2. Are there direct connections from Santiago airport to Lugo?
Regards
Greg & Julie & Emma
Cheers Laurie,
We'll take your advice re booking a hotel/pension and letting them know we'll be arriving late. What do we need to do to get our credencials stamped, before we set off for San Sebastián?

1. Are we kidding ourselves...
Not entirely sure why we're walking the Camino, but it feels right. A lot of things have come together that can be interpreted as justification...anyway we're doing it.
Flights booked, ferry booked. Leaving Irun Thurs 9th June, plan to get to Santiago Thurs 21st July. Walking Norte/Primitivo...
