I love hiking, backpacking and camping in the mountains. I live near the Blue Ridge and Appalachian Mountains and have done sections hikes on the Appalachian Trail and fell in love with long distance backpacking in the solitude of the wilderness and mountains where you can just be alone with your thoughts. Im now planning a 1st mother/daughter trip for the Camino Frances where we will be celebrating our 30th/50th birthdays. This will be her first trip outside the US, and her first long distance walk/hike. Looking forward to our trip and meeting many new friends along "the way".
