Maybe some forum members (now on the camino) have met him, which may be helpfull for his wife and family, which is why I copy this message (from a facebook group) here. RIP. Last week on Monday 15 April, Bjørn Krohn, a Danish priest checked into...

Did you meet Bjørn Krohn? Died aged 48 in an albergue, I don't know where, tuesday 21th. I didn't know this until now.

Late April / beginning of May is known as one of the busiest times of the pilgrimage season in SJPP, Roncesvalles and Pamplona, and demand for beds (both private and municipal etc) can outstrip supply. This will now continue, especially on this...

I agree with @Pafayac - late April is the lead up to one of the busiest times in SJPdP, which is the beginning of May. Last year April was the 3rd busiest months after May and September.

Hey all. I haven't been on the forum for quite sometime (years probably). I walked the Camino Frances in 2016 and to say it was life changing for me is an understatement. On day 3, at the café at Zuriain, I met the love of my life, Alex. 3 years...

I took JB’s advice on my first Camino which was the French Way and walked at my own pace which I call a purposeful stroll. On the first day over the route Napoleon to Roncesvalles, I took 9 hours. Mind you I stopped a lot and had a very good...

Sure. I think I just pushed myself on the last 200 km out of ignorance. It took me 45 days without walking to recover when I got back to my country and they considered I was really lucky. It could have been a lot worse.
