    For me, it was difficult. It was like rounding the corner and getting caught in a parade. It’s not so much the number of people. It’s the large groups playing their boom box for all to hear and the call-out/response groups. After walking from St. Jean, it was disappointing.

    Hi! I travelled the Franćes last year from St. Jean pied de Port. I got as far as Portomarin before I fell and broke my hand. My question is: When I go back this year to finish, must I start in Sarria or may I start in Portomarin to receive my Compostela Certificate?
