    I walked in Montrail mountain shoes, they are great. Never had a blister and they lasted the Camino and are still good enough to hike in, very light weight for their durability, maybe some need boots, I have strong ankles. Go to a good outdoor store and find an experienced shoe sales person...

    Great question! I would suggest getting a copy of your prescription to take with you and an ID. Should not be a problem, most pharmacies should assist you. Try searching your question on google, I once saw a journal of a diabetic man who did the entire camino but can not remember where.

    For me the liner was a "must take" item, mine was VERY light weight, just check your bunk with your head lamp for any signs of small critters (bugs). I took a few small prepackaged individual bug wipes but rarely used them. And, I never had a blister by treating my feet with petroleum ointment...
