    Get out and walk, a lot. Build up to 10km and over a day. Put a few days walks in a row. When you are used of that, add weight.

    I wouldn't go near a bladder. To fill it you've to take it out of the bag. you can use a bottle to pour water over your head, feet etc Two small bottles - one on either side of the pack is a good option for balance.

    Absolutely no problem the last 5 nights in Espinal, Pamplona, Puente La Reina, Estella or Torres del Rio. Some sore feet and joints, but plenty of wine and beer being consumed to keep spirits high
