I purchased the women's Gregory Jade 50l pack ...after the Aura 50 did not fit me either...it is extremely light..and although it is 50 litres it can be cinched down to 35l or less...and when cinched it does not come up high behind the neck...maybe you should try it on, as well as the Gregory...- marilyn
