John, my first camino was guided by your book on the Primitivo. Since then I have walked in Spain four times and head back again this September. You were my guide and inspiration. God bless you.

A Spanish pharmacist recommended a foot cream which I aleays use when walkimg now. Can only be biught in Spain. Ciuld not find it in southern Spain, only from Madrid north. It is called Saltratos.
I bought a down jacket with a hood. Then wear a waterproof breatheable rain jacket over it, on the Primativo it worked great. Especially since some of the albergues did not have heat so I just wore my down jacket to bed.

The wall and castle

I am 65 year old woman and walked over the Pyrenees. There are a lot of people on the trail. You will be fine.
May I suggest you make reservations for Orisson and take it easy on the first day? Then you will start fresh for the steepest part the following morning. You will need to make...
I Walked the Camino in 2017. Trash was terrible especially from St, Jean PP to Rochevalles. I started picking up garbage and had a 30 gallon garabe bag full by Orisson! No wonder the shepherds do not like the pilgrims! Does anyone even think about the damage a plastic water bottle or plastic bag...
