Interesting you should mention that. I've just got back from 10 days in Florence. While there I went to Lucca for the day. Yes, that's an interesting aspect. I guess it's all about trade-offs. We pay for and buy meals all the time at restaurants without blinking an eye, and considering that we're paying for someone's rent and living expenses. I think if they're providing the food and preparing the meal, then paying...- Not Just a Granny

Hi Margaret, thanks for your message; forgive my late reply. I start from Porto; arrive 6th and start walking on the 9th; plan to walk along the coastal route (I love the ocean ;) ) I plan to reach Santiago by 20th so that I can explore the city on 21st before flying back to UK on 22nd.- Not Just a Granny
