Ditto. Pulled muscle so used Correos PAQ Mochila last 13 days. Perfect. Bag always at next Albergue by 3 pm, except 4 pm on a Sunday at Indian Way. Very pleased.
Another good tip from this Forum, on Wise Pilgrim app there’s a link in Albergue listing to call via What’s App. I’m on Francis route now and found this feature very useful to message or call ahead for a bed request.
Hi Mainely Stina:
Stay safe. The Guardia have been pretty present as I walked from Astorga today. Consider downloading their app. Good advice in this thread to buddy up, or check ins with Camino friends as you walk solo. I’m in wave so other pilgrims frequently in sight or filling cafes in...
We walked into Leon with Greg of Alabama on Wednesday. We gave him our contact, but I don’t have his. If he posts us when he reaches Santiago, I’ll ask Greg if I can forward his contact information to you.
Buen Camino

Buen Camino
I’m walking the Francis route now, first Camino. Using Gronze and Wise Pilgram, for lodging plans and route respectively. I have physical Village to Village Map Guide for planning daily walk length. I’m pretty tired each day so being able to have physical book to mark dates and stops is helpful...
Lots of ‘fun’ being buzzed by ebikes on walk to Hontanas today, my they are fast. 95% courteous of walkers, 5% frightening swerving between groups of pilgrims. Please use your horn.
Relief next Saturday on the Francis, 78 F, Pamploma. The kind Guardia were greeting pilgrims between Zubiri and next town today, handing out cards to call if need assistance. I had downloaded the app per the forum. A kind sister gave me a lift at second Fuentes at noon to the donativo. We...
Thank you to all the forum contributors for thoughtful, detailed and very helpful answers to new pilgrims. I have been reading posts this past year and now ready to embark on our camino in August. We have/will benefit from your collective wisdom. Many blessings. Palouse (region in Washington...
