    From Houston, TX to Camino de Santiago via SJPP mid May

    I am a native Houstonian, living in Brenham (70 miles or so from Houston) and will be walking the Camino Frances this April/May. There are three of us going together, one from back east, one from the Woodlands, and myself. Would love to have input from the other Houstonians.

    Seems to me the Packa is nearly the same and available here ... http://www.thepacka.com I used it for my Appalachian Trail hike and will be using it on the Camino. Mine just about covers my knees, but I am debating taking rain pants as well for April/May...

    I am American. My trailname is "Redhat" and I plan on walking from St. Jean de Pieds to Finisterre between mid June and the end of July. I especially am looking forward to being in Santiago on July 25th. I don't know if I will be walking with a friend or alone, but I will be there.
